Class sizes are limited to 12 persons. Taking the Maryland Wear and Carry class also qualifies for application for the Pennsylvania and Florida non-resident carry permits. Allows you to carry in up to 38 States. No additional cost. No need to take a Utah permit class since it covers the same states. Taking a Utah class would be an additional charge. Take Your Maryland HQL Or Wear And Carry Permits With Us

Taking a class with us you can expect to learn handgun laws in Maryland, firearm safety, maintenance, and proper use of a firearm so that you can obtain your Maryland Handgun Qualification License and/or your Maryland Wear and Carry Permit. You do not need an HQL to take the Wear and Carry Class. As a matter of fact if you do not have your HQL, after taking the Wear and Carry Permit Class and obtaining your permit you can get your HQL for free from the Maryland State Police. Also after taking and getting your Wear and Carry Permit you can also apply for your Pennsylvania and Florida non-resident concealed carry permits. Sign up for a class today.
Snacks and beverages (water, soda and coffee) are provided with ever class. If you are taking a Wear and Carry class, fresh fruit and donuts are provided every morning.
Now that the good and substantial reason clause has been dropped from Maryland firearm laws, there are a lot of companies suddenly popping up offering classes. Not all are legitimate or provide the proper training. When choosing a company to do your training with, make sure they employee Maryland State Police Qualified Handgun Instructors. If not you will not be able to get your Wear and Carry Permit when you submit your application. Also make sure they are follwing the training guidelines set forth by the Maryland State Police. 16 hours of training and live fire qualification with REAL firearms using Real ammunition at the distances mandated for the test. If not and they get caught you are the one that will suffer the consequences for their actions. The Maryland State Police will revoke your permit if it has already been approved. If not then when your application comes up for review it will be turned down when they see who the company or instructor you took the class with was. If that happens you will need to take and pay for a class with another company and start the entire process over again. If you do not have a Handgun Qualification License you can get one for free from the Maryland State Police AFTER you have been approved for and received your Wear and Carry Permit in the mail.
